Chishui River Red Army Bridge, a suspension bridge with the world’s tallest tower in mountain canyon, was completed.

This morning, Chishui River Red Army Bridge, invested by Sichuan Railway Investment Group Co., Ltd and built by Sichuan Road &Bridge (Group) Co., Ltd, was completed and delivered, giving a grand gift for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The Red Army Bridge, a steel truss suspension bridge with main span of 1200 meters long and the main tower of 243.5 meters high, possesses the world's tallest tower and second largest span in a mountain canyon. The opening of the bridge greatly improves the traffic conditions for the 800,000 people in 23 towns along the line.
